Retail Research Commons

(formerly ACRA Archives or Clearinghouse)

Several decades ago, the members of ACRA established a “Clearinghouse” or “Archives” containing various types of records, research, publications, and presentations of relevance to ACRA members. These holdings are housed at the Rutgers University School of Business – Camden, and are available to ACRA members for use in their research. They are maintained by Carol Kaufman-Scarborough, and contain the following:

  • Abstracts and full papers from all research presentations at ACRA conferences from 1981 to the present. These are available in several forms. “H” indicates hardcopy:
  • Textbooks: copies of classic textbooks by ACRA members (H)
  • NRF meeting tapes from 1989 to 2001 (H)
  • ACRA newsletters (H) – various dates.
  • Conference programs (various dates to present) (H)
  • Meeting minutes (1981 to present) (H), recent are electronic.

Colleagues throughout the academic community frequently contact us for copies of the full papers.  If you are an ACRA author and would agree to make your paper available to those who request it, please fill out the Permission Form (.doc) and return it to me at the address below or email to ckaufman@camden.rutgers.edu. If you prefer to have your abstract posted without making the full paper available, please indicate that instead.
